Task:
Imagine a speculative product that demonstrates co-agency, and design a landing page to communicate it.
Result:
Echo is a speculative podcast platform where humans and AI create content together in real time. The user selects the voice, topic, and format, and can then shape the direction, tone, and pace while listening. Instead of a pre-recorded episode, Echo evolves dynamically through dialogue with the user.
We designed a landing page that gradually reveals the functionality, with short demos showing how you can guide the conversation, ask questions, and explore different directions.
What I have learned:
This one-week project was part two of Matt Webb’s two-week exploration of co-agency. This time, the focus was on communication. I learned more about co-agency and how to design for interactions where both the human and the AI take initiative. It was fun and creative to use a landing page as a way to communicate an idea in a clear and engaging way.
